HUNTING REPORT
| APRIL 1,2008 The 2008 turkey season is looking very promising. I have been scouting an area in the high country thats holding lots of big birds. Opening day was a little slow with the cold and rain, but after the weather cleared the birds were willing to cooperate. I bagged this 3-4 year old tom the day after the opener, it's beard measured 11 in and had inch and half spurs. Best part is there's more just like him and almost no hunting pressure.
