Sturgeon fishing is heating up in the Delta!
Sturgeon fishing in the Sacramento river Delta system is heating up as warmer water temps
have the California Delta white sturgeon fishing on the bite. Roe, eel, pile worms and grass
shrimp are all working for those soaking baits in Delta right now. You must keep a tight line if
you wanna land these large fish on barb less gear that California requires while sturgeon
fishing. Tides are very important in the winter months as the Delta Striper and sturgeon
Fishing feeding windows can be shorter than in the spring, this is where experience is the key to success. We will be targeting Delta stripers well into June and Sturgeon till March.
