Delta sturgeon fishing report 2/10/2020

Sturgeon fishing is heating up in the Delta!

Sturgeon fishing in the Sacramento river Delta system is heating up as warmer water temps

have the California Delta white sturgeon fishing on the bite. Roe, eel, pile worms and grass

shrimp are all working for those soaking baits in Delta right now. You must keep a tight line if

you wanna land these large fish on barb less gear that California requires while sturgeon

fishing. Tides are very important in the winter months as the Delta Striper and sturgeon

Fishing feeding windows can be shorter than in the spring, this is where experience is the key to success. We will be targeting Delta stripers well into June and Sturgeon till March.

Sturgeon fishing has hit or miss depending on the tides and cold water temps. Look for more

reports on Delta stripers and sturgeon in the coming weeks. Remember for your best Delta

Striper fishing guide in Northern California Call Capt. Brandon at 916-289-0432 for
