Sacramento River Salmon Fishing Report 8/1/2021

Salmon fishing on the Sacramento river is heating up! Fishing for Sacramento river salmon is under way and we are catching chrome bright Sacramento river king salmon while fishing with flat fish lures and roe. As the Sacramento river salmon fishing season progresses more bright Sacramento river king salmon are showing up and being caught everyday by Sacramento river fishing guides and fishing guides of northern California. The Sacramento river is currently running at over 9000cfs with average water flows for this time of year. The Sacramento river salmon season in unaffected by the drought due to the drinking water and agricultural needs of the Sacramento river. The Salmon fishing on the Sacramento river will continue through the middle of December.
